We recently identified a couple of important issues in the market version 18.02.00.12 of LEAP Bridge Concrete CONNECT Edition. The details of the issues are listed as shown below. We have fixed those issues in the maintenance release v18.02.01.06.
Precast/Prestressed Girder module (formerly called CONSPAN)
- The results of stresses were incorrectly shown as zero in the design status window of Strand Pattern.
- The default load factors of the Service Limit States I and III incorrectly used 1.75 when the design code AASHTO LRFD 8th edition was selected.
- Incorrect error message “Input value must be greater than zero” popped up when a user tried to input the load factors which were actually greater than zero.
Substructure module (formerly called RC-PIER)
- When the option “Shear force is equally distributed among stirrups” in the window of Analysis/Design Parameters was unchecked, the shear/torsion design check did not function well.
